Attention City of Providence garbage customers: We now have 96 gallon trash totes available to garbage customers at no extra charge. The current city ordinance allows 90 gallons of trash per week. The new trash totes are 96 gallons so you must be able to place all of your trash in the new tote and close the lid. We will not collect excessive amounts of garbage over and about 96 gallons. If you have excessive amounts of garbage you run the risk of being cited by code enforcement. Call City Hall at (270) 667-5463 to be added to the list for a new trash tote.
